We
recently returned from the International Wales Bogsnorkelling
Championship.We had a fantastic time even in the bog. On the
day it rained and rained. We stood in the wet for 3 hours
waiting to get into the bog. It was exactly like the pictures,
muddy, cold, wet, filthy, and thick!”
This
year there was several professional swimmers so quite frankly
we didn’t have much of a chance at winning. We weren’t
too tardy though, Tigger took 2.14 minutes & I took 2.37
minutes.
The
bog was thick; it was like swimming in pea soup. We think
the winner took 1.48 minutes however as they haven’t
published the results yet and we felt it important to announce
the winner of the sweep.
We
were told they results would be up the following week and
have been waiting patiently. So if the published results are
different from the times we were told after we got out of
the bog, I’m sorry the times we were told are steadfast.
